Celebration of 150 years of “VANDE MATARAM”

Under the initiative of Shreekara World Foundation, a grand cultural programme was organised at 155 No. Cinnamara Primary School to commemorate 150 years of the historic national song 'Vande Mataram'.

More than 400 students, teachers, weavers, volunteers and community members participated in this meaningful event organised with collective enthusiasm.

PROJECT OBJECTIVE

The primary objective of this initiative was to commemorate 150 years of the national song “Vande Mataram” while fostering patriotism, cultural pride, national unity and moral values among students and the local community through collective participation. 

The event reflected Shreekara World Foundation’s commitment to inclusive education, cultural preservation and community engagement.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Mrs. Kavita Gogoi Borgohain from 155 No. Cinnamara Primary school warmly welcomed the officials of Shreekara World Foundation, volunteers, weavers, students, parents and audience. She briefly introduced the activities of Shreekara World Foundation. The Shreekara officials and the Headmaster of the school Mr. Pranjal Bora were felicitated by the teachers. 

The Headmaster of the school, Mr. Pranjal Bora, was also present in the function. The Headmaster, teachers and students expressed great happiness with this initiative of Shreekara World Foundation and welcomed future collaboration for the progress of the school.

ADDRESS BY THE CHAIRPERSON

Mrs. Papori Palkar, Chairperson & Founder Director of Shreekara World Foundation, delivered an inspiring address highlighting the mission of our foundation, objective of our visit along with historical, cultural, and emotional significance of “Vande Mataram.” She spoke about its role in India’s freedom movement and emphasized the importance of instilling values of patriotism, unity, and respect for the nation among children from an early age.

Mr. Sheetal Palkar (Director), Dr. Abhijit Bhuyan(Advisor), and Mrs. Akashi Bhuyan, Additional Director (North East) were also present in the event.
